But a real astrophysicist with a PhD would know this. I don&#8217;t want to beat a dead horse <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/teleological.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/beat-dead-horse.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"60\" height=\"66\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-514\" \/> since I&#8217;ve already gone over this in <a href=\"https:\/\/teleological.org\/index.php\/2025\/09\/23\/why-i-am-not-a-young-earth-creationist-anymore\/\" target=\"_blank\">Why I Am Not A Young Earth Creationist anymore<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/teleological.org\/index.php\/2025\/10\/18\/dissecting-yec-part-4\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dissecting YEC \u2013 Science and Light (Part 4)<\/a>, but R\u00f8mer&#8217;s experiment was so much simpler.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GhWqm4LZqus?si=z4X7NalT6Jilo5CF\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>R\u00f8mer&#8217;s experiment disproves Lisle&#8217;s deceptive idea that incoming light is instantaneous. In R\u00f8mer&#8217;s experiment there is no out going light so R\u00f8mer is only calculating one way light speed.
